Papa J's was born from a dream of creating a casual bistro that offers a premium-class dining experience in a central location on the doorstep of Old Porvoo.

When our first daughter was born, we decided to turn our long-time dream into reality—that’s how our story began. After gaining a lifetime’s worth of experience in various fine dining restaurants, the catering business, and organizing events both in Finland and abroad, we decided to create something of our own..

We wanted to establish a restaurant in our hometown where we would enjoy spending time ourselves—a place we’d return to again and again and proudly introduce to our loved ones. A place where even dogs and children are welcome..
